Well, here we are, seventeen days into the New Year and I have been coughing and spluttering and feeling dreadful for every single one of them – hope this isn’t a portent of things to come!
Anyway, the good news is that we should be moving back into our house very soon – maybe next week. So, hopefully, I’ll be able to get better organised and do more writing, walking and gardening.
I’m thinking of entering the Women’s Short Story Competition being run by Mslexia (mslexia.co.uk) – closing date 14 March 2016. Stories can be up to 2,200 words in length and on any subject. Entry fee is £10 per story, which seems rather a lot but the first prize is £2,000, which seems rather a lot!
Haven’t been out much so far this month, thanks to the flu, so can’t report on any goings on in Fuengirola – will try to rectify this situation as soon as possible.
Speak again soon!
