Life’s been hectic lately, mostly due to moving from Marbella to Fuengirola (or Los Boliches to be exact) but also helping to write/edit the 30th Anniversary magazine of the Salon Varietes theatre in the centre of Fuengirola.
We’re now more or less organised in our new home and have been trying out some nearby restaurants. Our favourite so far is La Langosta, Calle Francisco Cano 1, Los Boliches Tel: 952475049. We were most impressed with the ambience, the food and the service. At E16.90 for the evening menu del dia the price was good, too.
The 30th Anniversary magazine is fabulous – bright and colourful, with the right mix of articles and photographs. At just 2 euros, it’s great value for money and more than 700 copies have been sold so far. On sale in the theatre foyer each week-day from 11 30 am until 1 15 pm why not stop by the theatre next time you’re in Fuengirola and get a copy for yourself.
A huge concert will take place at Mijas Auditorium on Saturday, 13 June, to celebrate the 30th anniversary. Doors will open at 7 30 pm and the show will begin at 9 pm. Tickets are on sale now at the theatre box office, prices starting at 15 euros. You can read all about it in the magazine.
